After many years attending the Dutch New Forest stallion inspection, I was the most impressed with the Valentino offsprings. They have very correct conformation, beautiful gaits, and their temperament is definitely what you want for children's sport ponies.
In 1989 we imported Pepper from Holland to improve the gene pool of the New Forest Ponies here in the US and Canada. Pepper is a friendly, fast learning stallion with three very correct gaits and a strong supple back. He is 2nd level dressage and jumps 3 feet.
In 2003 he was presented at the America Warmblood Society in the Sport Pony Division, where he received a" Red Preferred."
His son Okjen's Ronald also received a "Red Preferred "and became US Silver Medal, Year End Award winner.
That same year Pepper received from the New Forest Pony Assoc & Reg the Year End Award Championship, Best Breeding Stallion, and received the very prestigious Mary Wilson Trophy.
Pepper is a stamping stallion just like his sire Valentino. Valentino a German bred pony is the most desired and ranks 4th best stallion in 50 years of breeding New Forest ponies in the Dutch Registry history.
Valentino has 9 approved sons and many approved grandsons all over the world. They have been sold for top prices to countries like Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, France, and Italy. You can find his offspring in the Junior World Championship in dressage and jumping.
Pepper's dam Sindy was 2 time Reserve National Champion with a 1st premie at the age of 18. She received multiple Championships in the Best Broodmare division and became a Star and Kroon mare. She produced 11 premie foals and Star daughters. Her daughter Voster Sweetie a Star, Kroon mare herself, was Site Champion and Reserve National Champion in 2000.
Pepper will be standing to pure bred and outside mares.

Olympia by Valentino, a Dutch bred mare
She was in 1996 the best filly foal at the National show in Holland. Two years later she became best New Forest filly at a Danish show. As a 3 year old she was entered in the studbook as a 1st class mare.
Her son Marrondales O'Connor (by Corso) is an approved stallion in Sweden and received three times score of a 10 for jumping, the highest score ever given to a stallion for jumping!
In 2005 at the Danish medal show she won a Silver Medal and best NF mare in Denmark.
Her daughter Marrondales Victoria (by Corso) is entered into the studbook 1st class with a Bronze Medal. Owner, Maryse Niewöhner in Denmark.
